The spiral sand washing machine is essential equipment in the artificial sand production line. The main function of the spiral sand washing machine is to wash off the mud powder in the sand, so that the finished sand can reach the standard of construction sand. The main shaft is driven by the motor to rotate continuously, so that the screw device stirs the sand and cleans the mud and water in the mixed sand. However, when the spiral sand washer is running, problems such as equipment failure will also occur.

1. Broken shaft

The main reasons for shaft breakage are uneven sand return, insufficient strength of the hollow shaft, the uneven operating load of the classifier, poor processing quality of the shaft material, improper installation of the hollow shaft or bending of the shaft, and improper operation.

Solution: It can be solved by replacing the hollow shaft or re-welding.

2. Unusual vibration or sound

The main reasons for shaft breakage are uneven sand return, insufficient strength of the hollow shaft, the uneven operating load of the classifier, poor processing quality of the shaft material, improper installation of the hollow shaft or bending of the shaft, and improper operation.

Solution: Dosing should be stopped immediately. After the remaining materials are processed, stop the generator, stop it for inspection, and restart the operation after the inspection is correct.

3. Spiral lobes or spokes bent

Generally, the sand returning tank is blocked due to the excessive amount of sand returning during operation. Or it is caused by insufficient screw lift before starting.

Solution: Repair or replace with new spiral blades and spokes.

4. Gears are easily damaged

Gears are damaged due to long-term wear and tear.

Solution: Damaged gears should be replaced in time and maintained regularly. At the same time, the sand washing machine shaft should reach the specified level.

5. Lift rod vibration

The shaft head is bent, sand has entered the lower shaft head, or the balls of the shaft head are worn, which can easily cause the vibration of the lifting rod.

Solution: Regularly clean the lower shaft head, and check whether the shaft head is bent and the wear of the balls in the time.
